Your Opportunity
Joining KPMG’s Accelerating Business Growth (ABG) practice as a Director, you will assume a leadership role in the delivery of government incentive services to a wide range of innovative and dynamic companies. Building on your extensive professional services experience, you will be involved in the following:
- Leading KPMG’s ABG practice in Perth
- Developing and implementing a strategy for building on the existing strong practice foundation to achieve sustainable and profitable growth
- Overseeing the career development of team members
- Contributing to the leadership of KPMG’s ABG national practice, working with a team of experienced Partners and Directors
- Establishing and maintaining close relationships to allow the team to identify and pursue relevant government funding opportunities in a timely fashion
- Overseeing the delivery of high-quality services to help exceed our clients’ expectations
- Supporting clients in their dealings with government, particularly with AusIndustry and the ATO
- Leading the pursuit of business development opportunities
- Demonstrating strong financial management skills and an ability to meet revenue and business development targets
- Building a profile within other areas of KPMG to support firm clients and to create a referral network
- Establishing and leveraging relationships with key stakeholders, such as government, in the innovation ecosystem
- Working with clients to articulate their innovation strategy / roadmap along with their business case for expansion and growth
- Assisting with the development and implementation of other complementary services to support our clients

To be successful in this position, you will be an experienced professional services advisor with:
- Seven to 10 years of experience in a professional services and/or government agency (program delivery) environment; AND
- Engineering, science, business or commerce-related qualifications with a key interest in technology and innovation.
